Samsung reveals first Android phone with DLP Pico projector

Samsung i8520 ‘Halo’ was revealed at Mobile World Congress. This Android 2.1 device sports a built in Texas Instruments DLP pico projector. We have seen these being pushed for a couple years, but this is the first time for an Android phone. The projector can display images from 5 to 50 inches and will become a must have for smartphones

Highlights of the specs include:
  
3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display
8 megapixel autofocus camera with flash (VGA on the front)
Internal memory: at least 2GB (512 MB ROM / 384 MB RAM + 16GB MoviNAND)
DLP Pico projector integrated
Other features: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, stereo speakers, standard 3.5mm jack, and DLNA support
Operating System: Android 2.1
